| Ph.D. Programme | • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline is required for admission to the Ph.D. programme. A relaxation of 5% marks is provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwBD categories as per government rules. OR • A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree followed by a Master’s Degree, OR a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree followed by a 2-year Master’s Degree is also acceptable for applying to the Ph.D. programme at BHU. OR • Candidates holding an M.Phil. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks are also eligible to apply for Ph.D. admission. AND • Qualifying UGC/CSIR NET, JRF, or ICAR-SRF (Ph.D.) or any equivalent national-level eligibility test applicable to the discipline is mandatory for admission under JRF / NET mode as per BHU Ph.D. Ordinance. |
